Enter the star. Reveal the crystalline core.
This first Quatrix homepage pass turns the product into a cinematic public entry: a living star, orbit-driven scientific layers, a quartz-encased core, and a profile-centered identity shell that can evolve with each domain as the APIs come online.
A fiery solar entry point inspired by Eosphoros and Hesperos, but unified into a Quatrix-specific core.
Clicking the star reveals the crystal chamber, two circulating galaxy bodies, and the central human glyph.
Quatrix is being shaped as a single interface for everything from subatomic structure to cosmic systems.
Quatrix is being shaped as a public scientific atlas across scale
The first build pass focuses on shell, navigation, visual identity, and graceful browsing paths even where APIs are not wired yet.
The home screen is now centered around a living star shell that opens into the quartz-encased core. It is meant to communicate the product identity immediately, before every domain integration is complete.
This phase favors real data where it already exists, and premium placeholders where infrastructure is still staged. The result is a product that can be demoed, navigated, and extended without broken dead ends.
Current build principles
How Quatrix should feel during the UI-first phase.
Premium, scientific, spatial, modern.
High information density without clutter.
Consistent entry points across public exploration and signed-in workflows.
Graceful empty states instead of broken experiences while APIs and ingestion continue to come online.
Move through Quatrix by domain, not by raw tables.
Explore
Start at the cross-domain discovery hub and branch into the major scientific layers.
Periodic Table
One of the strongest current data-backed experiences in the repo, with visual navigation into profiles.
Molecules
Browse molecule records, open composition flows, and move into the studio and builder tools.
Truth
Browse the evolving source-of-truth layer for entities, claims, citations, and relationships.
Space
Jump from solar system tools into sky maps, exoplanets, and a future scale explorer across the universe.
Weather
Weather + flight dashboards and telemetry placeholders that stay usable even while integrations are staged.
Lab
Experimental capture tools for browser hardware, spectrum demos, and future field instrumentation.
Research
The workspace shell for projects, assets, events, and personal scientific workflows.
Quatrix is being organized as one continuous map of reality.
Subatomic → Atomic
Quarks, particles, atoms, and isotopes.
Molecular
Compounds, composition, and future materials.
Planetary Systems
Weather, telemetry, and Earth-bound sensing.
Cosmic
Planets, stars, galaxies, and large-scale structure.
What is already strong
Use these areas during the first public-facing pass.
- Global shell, route consistency, and public navigation are now part of the active build direction.
- Periodic table, molecule workflows, graph-backed entities, and space modules already have a foundation.
- Supabase remains the core for auth, data, storage, and user-owned workspace artifacts.
- Vercel deployment and GitHub-based iteration remain the intended path for shipping quickly.
What comes next after this pass
These are staged as polished placeholders now, then deepened together.
- Refine the orbiting spheres around the crystal one by one, with deeper domain-specific identity.
- Polish flagship pages beyond the hubs, including element profiles, molecule detail flows, and truth traversal.
- Wire missing APIs without changing the public shell or disrupting the discovery flow.
- Expand the profile core into a true personal scientific workspace tied to saved entities, assets, and notes.
